Spraying will reportedly focus on area around Essex Street.

The Lynnfield Board of Health has announced that spraying will take place after 8 p.m. on Wednesday, after a third mosquito sample taken in town tested positive for West Nile Virus.

"This target area is the same area as was sprayed earlier this month will encompass Essex Street in Lynnfield. This will include the border streets of Lowell, Main and Summer Street near Essex Street and side streets which encompass Essex Street," said the town announcement.

Residents do not need to take special precautions during the spraying, said the announcement, although they may want to go inside and close the windows if they see a spray truck approaching.
