ReplyJohn, only having Exit 43 on their site is a condition that the Wakefield Board of Appeals set in order for their to be a small sign at exit 42 advertising MarketStreet, In addition ND is supposed to write into all the leases that no tenant will advertise exit 42. And on a yearly basis they have to remind the tenants not to advertise exit 42. Not sure if ND has accepted all the conditions yet to receive permission for the sign.

ReplyGlad to see that National Development did not file an article at the last minute. I hope they Honor their Agreement with the Town from 2007 and do not file an article for a multiplex in October for the fall town meeting.

ReplyIt was mentioned at a couple of meetings in 2006 and 2007, but the traffic engineers said it was not fully studied and they did not believe it was feasible.

Linda,
It is important to remember that we are first and foremost asking National Development to Honor the Agreement that they and approximately 1/3 of the town voters agreed to in 2007 that there would not be a cinema and that the maximum square feet is 395,000 sq ft.Voting No on the cinema is an affirmation of that Agreement.
Over the past six years, when we have approached the Board of Selectmen, Planning Board and other governmental bodies, we have been asked "Is it in writing", if it isn't they can't help you. The agreement is in writing and says no cinema and 395,000 sq st. Let's Preserve Lynnfield.

When any analysis is done, it should include the 12 million in debt that the town issued for the course. When people say they pay for themselves the analysis should include all the costs.
