Nan Hockenbury, Neighbor

Nan Hockenbury currently serves as chair of the Historical Commission and incoming President of the Historical Society. She spent her youth as a Lynnfield resident, and also chose Lynnfield as the place to raise her own children, who are now grown and living out of town.<br><br>After careers in retail sales and the graphic arts, Nan earned both a Masters in Education and Fine Arts. She works independently as a painter.<br><br>In taking on her new position at the Lynnfield Historical Commission, Nan has come to realize that Mr. Hall&#39;s American History class was more relevant to Lynnfield than expected, and she works with her colleagues to create an awareness of Lynnfield&#39;s history. Along with Commission duties, she is currently working to catalog and conserve the collections of the Historical Society.
