She was the loving wife of the late John B. Conway & the late Roger E. Rand. Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Ivon and Hazel (Field) Preble and step daughter of the late O.H. "Tex" Austin. Mrs. Conway worked as a fashion merchandiser for T.J.X. Corporation. She wintered in Inverness, FL and was a member of the Council on Aging in Saugus. A devoted homemaker and dedicated gardener, she had resided in Lynnfield for the past 45 years, lovingly tending to her garden as the seasons changed. Carl Arthur Wold Jr. , age 69, of Methuen, formerly of Lynnfield, died unexpectedly at home on April 20, 2013. He was the beloved husband and best friend of Dorothy (Dyson) Wold, with whom he had shared 44 years of marriage. Born in Waltham, MA and raised in Stoneham, he was the son of the late C. Arthur and E. Louise (Martin) Wold. Carl was a graduate of Stoneham High School in the class of 1962 and the Andover School of Business. He and his family lived in Lynnfield for many years. He, along with his wife Dottie, owned and operated Karen’s Bakery in Lynnfield for over forty years. Karen’s Bakery was well known for many items, including cinnamon monkey bread and oatmeal bread.
