A look at some of the latest works from Lynnfield's young art students to go on display at town hall.
From time to time, this website will run photos of the various elementary school art projects that go on display at town hall outside the school district office at various times in the school year. In this case, second graders at Huckleberry Hill Elementary School completed these projects earlier in the year, based on the traditional designs of Australian Aboriginal art. These and many, many more masterpieces will be on display April 12 when HHS holds its annual Fine Arts Night.

The Lynnfield School District office at town hall routinely features artwork by the town's students. This latest display was created by first graders at Huckleberry Hill Elementary School. In this case, they were learning about Georges Seurat and the technique called pointillism. Check out their work in this gallery!

Summer Street and Huckleberry Hill held annual walking events Wednesday.
Students at Lynnfield's two elementary schools walked their hallways right before their Thanksgiving break to help raise funds for character-building programs and new technology. At Summer Street on Wednesday, the school's PTO was on its way toward meeting a fundraising goal of $18,000 with the Race For Education. The event typically has the students walking laps around the school for a specified period of time, but poor weather kept it limited to the hallways this year. The funds will be used to help fund character-building programs that do things like bring authors to speak to the students about issues like bullying. The fundraiser has been going on at Summer Street for four years now - and individuals who would like to make a donation …
