Local restaurant owner joins next Curious about Cuisine meeting at the library, Wednesday, Feb. 13 at 3 p.m.
The next meeting of the Lynnfield Library's Curious About Cuisine group will feature Christine Picciarello, owner of Christine's Cafe and Confections in Post Office Square, Lynnfield. Picciarello will offer tips and techniques on planning different kinds of parties - while still having fun doing it. As noted in this past article on Lynnfield Patch, Picciarello worked for years as an executive pastry chef before she opened Christine's nearly two years ago. The Curious About Cuisine group meets during the non-summer months to discuss various food and cooking topics. The next meeting is Wednesday, February 13th at 3 p.m. in the library mezzanine. Snow date is Feb. 14th.

Last week, Christine's Cafe and Confections welcomed Beth Aldrich, author of "Real Moms Love To Eat." The event drew a good-sized group of town residents, and I'm told that it featured some outstanding refreshments as well. Owner Christine Picciarello reports that she hopes to hold other events like this in the future at her cafe, which opened up in town last fall.
