'Face Off For Ace' To Feature Numerous Bruins Alumni

Annual fundraiser in memory of Lynnfield resident and NHL player/scout benefits kids at the Floating Hospital for Children in Boston. Tickets must be reserved by Monday.

The Ace Bailey Children’s Foundation is holding its annual “Face Off For Ace” event on Wednesday, February 13th at the Royal Sonesta in Cambridge. A cocktail reception is from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and dinner and awards are at 7:30 p.m. This year’s special guest is NHL Hall of Famer Mark Messier, while the masters of ceremony will be former Bruin Gord Kluzak, Katherine Tappen of NESN, and Bernie Corbett, sportswriter and the voice of the BU Terriers. Bruins alumni expected to be in attendance include Bob Beers, Ray Bourque, John Bucyk, Cleon Daskalakis, Ted Donato,  Gordon Kluzak, Steve Leach, Don Marcotte, Rick Middleton, Mike Milbury,  Jay Miller, Barry Pederson, Rick Smith, Bob Sweeney, C.J. Face Off For Ace Tickets Still Available

Feb. 29 fundraiser at Royal Sonesta Hotel in Cambridge benefits Ace Bailey Children's Foundation, features various Boston Bruins and NESN personalities.

Tickets are still available for the 10th annual Face Off For Ace event, on Wednesday, Feb. 29 at the Royal Sonesta Hotel in Cambridge. Cocktail reception and silent auction begin at 6:30 p.m., dinner, award presentation and live auction begin at 7:30 p.m. The event will feature an appearance by Boston Bruins legend Cam Neely, and the guest speaker will be Brian Burke, president and General Manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Gord Kluzak, Kathryn Tappen and Bernie Corbett will be in the master of ceremonies role. A number of other Boston Bruins alumni, many of them with ties to the North Shore, will be attending, as will a number of other hockey professionals from the Beanpot and elsewhere.
