Lynnfield Woman Joins 'Snowflakes For Sandy Hook' Effort

Teachers in Connecticut seeking paper snowflakes from around the country to decorate new school to be used by kids following the shootings in Newtown. Lynnfield woman is among those helping out.

A Lynnfield woman has joined in an effort to send handmade paper snowflakes to decorate a new school for children in Newtown, Connecticut. A mass shooting on December 14th left 26 victims dead, most of them elementary school students. Following the killings, Newtown’s school officials decided to move the rest of the students back to a former school building in the area rather than have them go back to school at the actual scene. In Connecticut, the Connecticut PTSA website includes “Snowflakes For Sandy Hook” where, among other ways of showing their support, people can mail their paper snowflakes.
