It is getting very close to the end of the school year, and a lot of us are out there on the fields rooting for the blue and gold. I have to admit, many years ago (okay, maybe decades ago) I used to be a cheerleader for the green and gold (North Reading Hornets) but these days, I am loving the combination of cool blue and warm gold. It really is a classic combination. Who doesn't respond positively to bright and sunny yellow? And just looking at a deep blue can conjure up relaxing images of the ocean and sky.
