SEPAC Meeting: On Wednesday, Sept. 19 at 7 p.m.. at Lynnfield Preschool, the Lynnfield Special Education Parents Advisory Council  holds its first meeting of the school year, withLynnfield School Superintendent Dr. Thomas Jefferson and Lynnfield School Committee SEPAC liaison Dr. Salvatore Cammarata. They will also be introducing the Community Connections social and fund-raising event being planned for April 2013. Town's 9/11 memorial ceremonies begin at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday.

Today is Friday, September 9. Here are five things you need to know: Lynnfield 911 Memorial: The town's day of 911 memorial activities will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday morning with a service in front of the fire department headquarters on Summer Street. Volunteers will spend much of the afternoon on the town common reading the names of those who died in the attacks on September 11th, 2001, and there will be a service at 6 p.m. for the community with Kathy Bailey, widow of Ace Bailey, speaking. The full schedule can be viewed on the Lynnfield 911 website.
