Two More MarketStreet Lynnfield Liquor Licenses Approved

Selectmen approve liquor licenses for Davio's and Yard House, with both expected to open in late summer.

Two of the expected restaurants at MarketStreet Lynnfield had their liquor license applications approved by selectmen at this week's meeting. Liquor licenses were approved for the Yard House and for Davio's Northern Italian Steakhouse. Attorney Joe Devlin and Stephanie Dazzo, manager of record for the Yard House, represented that company before the selectmen. Devlin reported that the Yard House will be located in Building 300 of the MarketStreet Lynnfield development. The restaurant will be 10,000 square feet, and a 1,700 square foot covered patio is also planned. VIDEO: Steve DiFillippo on Northern Italian Cuisine

Steve DiFillippo, the owner of Davio's and a former Lynnfield resident, talked at Monday night's selectmen's meeting about his upcoming restaurant in town.

As noted in this separate article today on Lynnfield Patch, selectmen have approved liquor licenses for two more restaurants at MarketStreet Lynnfield - Davio's Northern Italian Steakhouse and the Yard House. Davio's owner Steve DiFillippo grew up in Lynnfield and was the restaurant's original chef when he opened up on Newbury Street in Boston back in 1985. In this video clip, he talks about the differences one might find in the cuisine to the north of Rome compared to well-known southern Italian style dishes.
