Best of Patch Readers' Choice

Larson's Chosen by Readers as Best Car Mechanic Around

This South Peabody shop has been in business since 1986.

Larson's Service was the clear winner in our readers' poll for the best car mechanic in Peabody. The Lynn Street garage won handily on total votes and on most positive reviews from readers. Here's what they had to say: "Excellent, quality automotive and personal service. They truly care about their customers. They offer sound advice and never steer you in the wrong direction. Dependable and supportive automotive care. Have never experienced such a level of professionalism with any other mechanics. Worth every penny and more. Who's The Best Car Mechanic in the Area?

This week's readers' poll is all about car mechanics. Who do you think is the best in the Tanner City?

This week's Best of Patch Readers' Choice is on car mechanics -- either you love 'em or you hate 'em. We want to hear about the ones you love. Do you have a favorite mechanic in Peabody that you use? This week's survey will also include readers of neighboring Lynnfield Patch. Below is a list of some of the shops in Peabody -- there are far too many to list them all here. If we're leaving your favorite off the list, however, please let us know in the comments and we'll add it: Voting in the poll below is open until 9 a.m. Friday. Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results and reviews on Patch Places. Please vote only …

Although the decor is certainly "nostalgic" in nature, it is not just "your grandmother's" salon. The ladies there are experienced colorists and stylist who do keep up with the trends of today. This is not your typical clip and go salon. Here, you get time spent on you to make sure you have exactly what you want. The girls will give you what YOU want and not what they want to give you as is the …   more ›
