Gingerbread House Construction: Lynnfield Community Schools has announced a Gingerbread House Construction class on Thursday, Dec. 6 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The price is $35. Congratulations to the LHS volleyball team on an excellent season.

Today is Monday, November 19th. Here are five things you need to know. LHS Volleyball: Congratulations to the LHS girls volleyball team on a superb 2012 season. They came up short in the MIAA Division 3 championship game this weekend against Frontier Regional High School, 3-0. Frontier was the Division’s Western Champ and was also the #1 seed in its division with an 18-1 regular season record. Lynnfield started the tournament as the #3 seed in the North Division with a 17-3 regular season record. This weekend, LHS students present "Legally Blonde." Also - today is last day to drop off items for Troop 48's Hurricane Sandy relief truck.

Today is Friday, Nov. 16. Here are five things you need to know. Legally Blonde: The show will be performed at LHS on Thursday, November 15th at 7:00 p.m., Friday, November 16th at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, November 17th at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, November 18th at 2:00 p.m.  Ticket prices are $12 for students and seniors and $14 for adults.  Hurricane Relief: Today is the last day to drop off items at the truck in the Middle School parking lot, which will leave Saturday to bring items to those still suffering in New York and New Jersey from Hurricane Sandy.  Click here for information. After beating Central Division Champs Millbury Memorial 3-1 in Tewksbury, the LHS team takes on Frontier, the Western Division Champs, in the final on Saturday, Nov. 17 at noon at Algonquin Regional High School in Northborough. Diwali At The Library: Today at 2 p.m. bring the kids to the Lynnfield Library for a Diwali Celebration featuring stories, a craft and some Indian snacks. LHS Volleyball: Congratulations to the LHS girls volleyball team on their 3-0 win against Academy of Notre Dame this weekend in the MIAA Division 3 North championship game.  Notre Dame was the #1 seed heading into the tournament, with a 20-o record, while Lynnfield was #3 with a 17-3 record. Up next, Lynnfield plays Millbury Memorial, the central division champs, Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Tewksbury High School.
