The Lynnfield Middle School, built in the early 2000s on a large campus off of Main Street, serves as the town's only public middle school. Its grounds feature several playing fields and tennis courts. The school contains a library media center and a computer lab. Students are provided traditional courses, such as social studies, language, math, physical education, art, music, foreign languages and computer technology. Lynnfield's mission is "to develop life-long learners and to stimulate the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical potential of every student."
