DO NOT USE THIS TRAVEL AGENCY!! I booked a vacation through this travel agency back in January. I checked my credit card statement a month after the trip was completed, and saw that I had an additional $25 charge from Colony Travel. I called Colony and was told that this was a charge for using the 24 Hour Emergency Hotline the day before I was to leave for Mexico I potentially had to change my flight due to prior travel complications). They deemed this call not to be an emergency and thus charged me the fee. However, NOWHERE in my paperwork does it say that there will be such a charge. When I spoke with Heidi that first day I called, she said she would try to get my money back for me. I asked for constant updates as the process continued. After not hearing anything from her for two days, I called and left a message two days in a row, with no response either day. After a week of trying to contact Heidi almost daily, I asked to speak to a manager. It turns out that Heidi is the owner of the company. I have since spoken with her again and she says that she is still working on it. However, the lack of communication and paperwork regarding this charge, as well as the poor customer service is deceitful and unprofessional. I would NOT recommend using this travel agent to anyone.
