The following was provided by the Lynnfield Historical Society:

On, Saturday, December 7th, in the 1714 Meeting House, the Lynnfield Historical
Society is presenting its 51st annual holiday Country Store. This year’s Country Store will feature the traditional favorites as well as some new attractions and extended hours.

The Store will open at 9 a.m. On sale will be traditional holiday greens in the form of wreaths and swags; boxwood trees; Vermont cheddar cheese; ham, beans and brown bread dinner to go; a variety of home-made baked goods; penny candy; freshly popped popcorn; and homemade jams. The kitchen will also be open selling and serving coffee, cider, donuts, hot dogs and sandwiches.
Featured again this year is Santa’s North Pole Fishing Hole sponsored by Colby Properties. New this year is “Santa’s 5 &10” where the kids can do their holiday shopping!

At 10:45 a.m., Santa will arrive via fire truck and will be available upstairs in the Meeting House for photos with children. There will again be a professional photographer on hand taking pictures for a small donation to the Historical Society. The Meeting House will stay open this year up to and during the tree lighting ceremony.
