Town's 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony, Rotary Chicken BBQ This Week

Today is Monday, September 9. Here are five things worth knowing today.

Lynnfield's annual 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony is this Wednesday, September 11th at 8:30 a.m. in front of Fire Department Headquarters, next to town hall at 59 Summer Street. All first responders and citizens are invited to attend.

The Lynnfield Library starts the season for two of its longstanding groups this week – Curious About Cuisine meets on Wednesday, Sept. 11 from 3 to 4 p.m. with a “Small Plats: Tapas, Mezes and Antipasti” theme. On Thursday, Sept. 12 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., the Library’s BookLovers group holds its first meeting of the season. All are welcome.

Do you have a new or gently used coat you can donate to an area child in need? Hang on to it until October 14th, when Anton’s Cleaners at Center Court kicks off its annual Coats for Kids Drive. Click here to learn more:
