Lynnfield's annual 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony is this Wednesday, September 11th at 8:30 a.m. in front of Fire Department Headquarters, next to town hall at 59 Summer Street. All first responders and citizens are invited to attend.The annual Lynnfield Rotary Chicken BBQ is tomorrow - Tuesday, September 10 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. on the Lynnfield Common. The BBQ raises a considerable amount to help fund the Rotary’s local activities in the communities. Tickets are available the day of the event.
The Lynnfield Library starts the season for two of its longstanding groups this week – Curious About Cuisine meets on Wednesday, Sept. 11 from 3 to 4 p.m. with a “Small Plats: Tapas, Mezes and Antipasti” theme. On Thursday, Sept. 12 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., the Library’s BookLovers group holds its first meeting of the season. All are welcome.
