Kids Book Donations Needed, and Wakefield Choral Society Open Rehearsals

Today is Monday, December 30. Here are five things worth knowing today.

Local nonprofit group BKP is seeking donated children’s books to send to libraries damaged by Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. If you have any books you can donate, they will be at Centre Congregational Church in Lynnfield on Saturday, January 11 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. For more information, click here.

The Lynnfield Library is open tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for New Year’s Eve, and will be closed on Wednesday for New Year’s Day.

Coming up on Monday, January 6 at 6:45 p.m., the Wakefield Choral Society has an open rehearsal scheduled at Wakefield High School. The first three rehearsals on January 6,  13 and 20 are open to new members. Click here to learn more.
