'Fight Like a Girl' T-Shirts For Breast Cancer Research

The DiCorato family, owners of the Countryside Deli on Salem Street, are selling “Fight Like a Girl” t-shirts during the month of October to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month and to raise money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Check out their Facebook page for more.

Monday, The Lynnfield Library holds a Boston Bruins Pajama Party starting at 6:30 p.m. Bring your young hockey fans for stories about hockey, including about some current members of the Bruins, as well as a Bruins craft. All are welcome no registration required.

Speaking of the library, they’re still accepting donations for the annual Used Book Sale on Saturday, October 19 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Old Meeting House. Boxed or bagged book, DVD and CD donations can be left in the library foyer or at the circulation desk. Click here to learn more
