Cub Scout Signup Date Announced, and First SEPAC Meeting

A Note From Lynnfield SEPAC: Please join us on Wednesday, September 11 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.  at 525 Salem Street as we welcome in the new school year.  Our guest this evening will be Kara Mauro, Director of Special Services.   Kara will provide an update, talk about some new programs for the 2013 - 14 school year and have an open Q&A session.
The SEPAC is a group of parents and education professionals who come together to maximize the educational and developmental opportunities for Lynnfield students with special needs.  We offer an opportunity to network with other parents and education professionals as well as provide a number of informative presentations and workshops.  Please feel free to contact the SEPAC Co-Chairpersons; Ms. Terri Farrell and Ms. Elaine Gravante, through the Special Services Office at 781-581-5140 for additional information. 

Eastern Mountain Sports has announced a kayak demo night on Lake Quannapowitt on Wednesday, August 28 from 4 to 8 p.m. People will be able to try out kayaks and buy them. 

The Beebe Library has announced that its Plaza Jazz summer concert series is extended by one week. The final concert of the series is now Thursday, September 5, when blues band Pistol Pete & the the Smoking Guns  will perform 6-8 p.m.

The Wakefield Choral Society is holding an open rehearsal Monday, September 9 at the Wakefield High School music room from 6:45 to 7:45 p.m. Open rehearsals are also reportedly scheduled for Monday, September 16 and Monday, September 23.
