Warm Winter Prolongs Golf Season
One of three golf courses in Lynnfield still open until further notice.
New Year's Day may be right around the corner, but that doesn't mean area golfers have had to hang up their clubs for the season.
A check with in Lynnfield this week found that the course remains open barring any snow cover. The Sagamore website says the course is currently "walking only" because of sensitive ground conditions. Call the course at 781-334-3151 for more information.
Meanwhile, the Reedy Meadow Golf Course in Lynnfield has closed for the season, and will not be re-opening until around March.

Also, the town's third golf course, King Rail is closed not just for the season but for all of 2012 due to planned construction of the Market Street at Lynnfield project. King Rail is expected to reopen in 2013.
