Three LHS Teams In MIAA Semifinal Games This Week

Volleyball, boys and girls soccer all had playoff victories this week.

Following their playoff victories earlier this week, three Lynnfield High School teams are now preparing for MIAA tournament semifinal games.

Tonight at 7 p.m., the LHS girls volleyball has a home game against St. Clement, following their 3-0 win Monday night over Presentation of Mary Academy, which was also a home game. The winner of tonight's volleyball game goes on to play in the MIAA Division 3 North final on Friday night in Lawrence.

On Thursday at 7:45 p.m., the boys soccer team plays a semifinal game against St. Mary's at Manning Field in Lynn. To get to this point, the boys beat Matignon 5-1 on Tuesday afternoon at Jordan Park in Lynnfield. If the LHS boys can beat St. Mary's tomorrow, they will be back at Manning Field on Saturday for the MIAA division final game against either Georgetown or Rockport.
