Synchronized Swimmers Qualify For Nationals

Two Lynnfield residents, Laura Mucci and Rebecca Sievers, are members of the North Shore Selkies synchronized swim team.

The New England Regional Championship competition was held last weekend. The North Shore YMCA Selkies qualified all 13 members of the Age Group Team to compete at the USA Synchro Age Group National Championships held June 22-29 at Miami University of Ohio.  As part of the National qualifying process, Selkies competed at the Association level. 16 routine events from the Association Championships were eligible to compete at the Regional Championship. The top 3 event champions from Regionals will now represent the Selkies on the National level.
