The Lynnfield High baseball team came into Thursday's game against visiting Triton on an impressive 6-1 streak. But the Mustangs, and the weather put a damper on that streak as the Pioneers were shutout 9-0.
At 10-5, Lynnfield has already clinched a spot in the MIAA tournament, and have five games remaining in the 2011 campaign, three of which are Cape Ann League games.
On Saturday the Pioneers head to Pentucket (10-5) for a 10 a.m. game.
