MIAA Tournament Action Continues This Week For Lynnfield
Volleyball game at LHS at 7 p.m. tonight, girls soccer plays road game at 3 p.m.
has a couple of MIAA tournament games to look forward to as the week gets underway.
On Saturday, the girls soccer team beat Lowell Catholic by a whopping 10-1 margin, setting the stage for a quarterfinal game today on the road at 3 p.m. against Ipswich High School. The girls had earned a bye in the preliminary round with a 7-5-6 record.
And on Sunday, the boys soccer team, which went 15-3 in the regular season, beat Newburyport 6-1 at Jordan Park after also earning a bye in the preliminary round. Their next game is Tuesday, Nov. 8 at 2 p.m., also at Jordan Park in Lynnfield.

Tonight at 7 p.m., the LHS girls volleyball team, which just wrapped up an undefeated 20-0 regular season, plays its first tournament game of the season with a home game against Presentation of Mary Academy. This team also earned a first-round bye because of its regular season record.
On Friday, the LHS field hockey team (12-5) saw its own MIAA tournament bid cut short with a 6-0 loss to Watertown.
