LHS Baseball, Softball Teams Headed To MIAA Tournament
Both teams got byes in preliminary round, will play their respective playoff games Saturday 4 p.m. at LHS.
The LHS Pioneer baseball and softball teams are heading to MIAA playoff games in the coming days.
The softball team, which plays in North Division 3, is a #8 tournament seed (13-7 record) and has a bye in the preliminary round. The Pioneers play either Watertown or Mt. Alvernia on Saturday, June 2 at 4 p.m. in Lynnfield.
The baseball team, also in North Division 3, is a #1 seed after finishing 17-3 and sharing the Cape Ann League championship. The Pioneer baseball team also gets a bye in the preliminary round and plays either Stoneham or Madison Park, also on Saturday, June 2 at 4 p.m. in Lynnfield.
