The game was delayed a day due to rain, but the Lynnfield Pioneer baseball team beat North Reading 4-0 on Wednesday afternoon, meaning the two teams end the season in joint possession of the Cape Ann League Division 2 title.

The LHS varsity baseball team record for the season was 15-3, with MIAA tournament spots set to be announced in the coming days.
