Flurries at Kasabuski

Bobby Orr had it right when he said "Forget about style; worry about results". Anthony Grabau certainly drilled that idea home while addressing his team as Captain today. The Mite A Stars team responded on offense with a flurry of goals. Ten total for a season high. James Glowacz deked out the Melrose goalie and popped in his first of the season. Next, Brendan Heffron accelerated through the neutral zone and jammed home another. Brendan worked extra hard today on offense and defense and earned himself the game puck. Cam Sullivan found the back of the net twice, assisted by some familiar linemates, brother Timmy and Stevie Migliero. Jack Glowacz again showed some scoring touch with two of his own, one which was set up by his brother James on a nice feed. Joseph Soares also got on the board twice with some nice passing by his brother Jonathan and Mike Murphy. Abby Travers played a stellar game on defense today and also came within inches of scoring, shooting one just wide of the net. Goalie Jimmy Driscoll turned aside multiple opportunities with some creative stick work and cat like reflexes. All loose pucks were gunned into the corner away from harm by Dion Sacca who played a great all around game too. Just an incredible game by a quickly improving Stars team. Most of the goals today were the result of some amazing passes and effort. This team is gelling fast and showed today why they may be the team to beat as the season progresses.
