Kids at Summer Street Elementary School made artwork to help raise funds for Children's Hospital.
Wednesday afternoon at the , dozens of children participated in an art party with the nonprofit group Kidz b Kidz. The organization sells retail products bearing the art work of participating kids, with proceeds going to benefit Children's Hospital in Boston.
Valerie Palermo and Jen Vath of the school's Parent-Teacher Organization were among those from the Summer Street community watching the children create their artworks.
Also on hand was Nancy Corderman, who co-founded Kidz B Kidz about three years ago with Jan Weinshanker.
