No-Tanning Pledge Calls Attention to Skin Cancer Risks

LHS Juniors participated in the Melanoma Foundation of New England's No-Tanning Pledge contest.

Thanks to the Lynnfield School District for providing this information:

This spring the Junior Class at Lynnfield High School participated in the Melanoma Foundation of New England’s No-Tanning Pledge contest: Your Skin is in; with the goal of increasing awareness about the dangers of tanning.  Junior and seniors collected signatures from 70 percent of their classmates pledging NOT to go tanning before the Junior Prom. Lynnfield High School was one of two winning high schools from Massachusetts for the NO Tanning Pledge contest! The Junior Class recently received a check for $500 to defray the cost of the prom.
