Lynnfielders Achieve Various Academic Distinctions

The following Lynnfield residents graduated or achieved other academic distinctions at their respective colleges and universities this spring:

- Julie Donovan, a resident of Lynnfield, was among over 900 students from Providence College who received undergraduate degrees during the College's Ninety-Fifth Commencement Exercises held on Sunday, May 19, 2013. Donovan graduated Cum Laude with a bachelor's degree in Spanish/Secondary Education.

- Curry College President Kenneth K. Quigley, Jr., is pleased to announce that Wilber Russell of Lynnfield, MA received a Bachelor of Arts degree on Sunday, May 19, 2013 at the College's Commencement ceremony in Milton, Massachusetts.

- Paul Restuccia of Lynnfield, earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Quinnipiac University during the 82nd undergraduate commencement held May 19.

- Some 2,557 students were awarded a variety of bachelor's degrees during the University of Vermont's 211th Commencement ceremonies on May 19. Danielle F. Sylvia of Lynnfield, received a BSEV in Environmental Engineering.

- Bridget Yahoodik of Lynnfield has been named to the Dean's List for the spring 2013 semester at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wis. Yahoodik is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism.

- Curry College President Kenneth K. Quigley, Jr., is pleased to announce that Wilber Russell of Lynnfield, MA received a degree on Sunday, May 19, 2013 at the College's Commencement ceremony in Milton, Massachusetts.

- The following local residents were among 1,340 students from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) named to the university's Dean's List for academic excellence for the spring 2013 semester.

Jessica Sacks of Lynnfield, Mass., is a sophomore majoring in biomedical engineering.

Joshua Hall of Lynnfield, Mass., is a freshman majoring in biomedical engineering.

- Bryant University held its 150th Commencement on Saturday, May 18. Among the graduates is Ilya Levin of Lynnfield, who earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Finance

- Dean College in Franklin is honored to announce that Lynnfield resident Ausjoli Minichiello, a current student of Dean College, has been named to the Dean's List for the Spring 2013 semester.

- Catherine Durant of Lynnfield, received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Marist College the weekend of May 24.

- Colleen Geary, of Lynnfield, a nursing graduate from Saint Anselm College, received a Saint Anselm College nurse's pin at the 2013 pinning ceremony in the Abbey Church on April 27.
