Lynnfield Resident Under Consideration For Waltham School Superintendent

A Lynnfield resident is among the finalists to become the new superintendent for the Waltham Public Schools.

According to , four finalists for superintendent in that town will be interviewed this week.

The Lynnfield resident is Anthony Polito, who currently works as superintendent of the Athol-Royalston Regional School District.

The other finalists for the Waltham position are: Dr. Reza Namin of Old Orchard Beach, Maine, who is the superintendent of Westbrooke, Maine's system at this time.

Also, Susan Nicholson, a Methuen resident who currently works as assistant superintendent in Andover, and Paul Schlichtman, the coordinator for research, testing and assessment in the Lowell Public School System, will also be interviewed between Monday and Tuesday.
