Lynnfield Idol Auditions Tonight at LHS

Town-wide singing contest is held every two years. Auditions are at LHS. Click here for more.

Auditions for the town's Lynnfield Idol contest, which was last held in 2011, have been moved to Tuesday, February 26th at Lynnfield High School from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The original audition date, Feb. 9th, ended up coinciding with the Blizzard of 2013.

According to an announcement for the event, separate auditions will be held in the middle school, high school and adult divisions, with semifinal and final rounds to be held in March.

Modeled after the popular "American Idol" TV show on Fox, the competition will be judged by local music industry professionals who will provide constructive feedback.
