The following is an announcement from the LHS Cheerleading Program:
Tryouts were held earlier this month and the 2012 Lynnfield High School Cheerleaders:

will wash away the road dirt from your cars at the South Lynnfield Post Office parking lot from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., on July 1, 2012, to earn funds to offset fees for competition music and choreography. Fees can runs upwards of $2,500.
According to newly elected captains Zoe DeGeorge and Stephanie Grimaldi and team manager Tiana Maylor, not only is the car wash a way to fundraise, it is one of the first activities that helps to raise team spirit in the new squad. Again this year the girls opted to be more environmentally aware with the products they will use during the car wash.
“We ordered Simple Green car wash and we’re using re-purposed tee shirts and towels because it’s better for the cars, the car washers and the environment. Green products do cost a little more, but doing the right thing is important to us as a team.”
A $5 donation will get your car clean, help to maintain a better world, and along with hard work and luck get the LHS Cheer Team back into the championships. Returning coach Courtney Whitaker, and the entire squad hope Lynnfield’s dirty cars can help the Blue and Gold Cheerleaders make Green, at the South Lynnfield Post Office from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 1, behind the fire station/post office.
