Information Night Dec. 12 For Integrated Preschool Program

The following was provided by the Lynnfield School District:

Lynnfield’s Integrated Preschool Program will host an information night including an overview of the Preschool program and registration for the 2014-2015 school year on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at the Lynnfield Preschool, located at 525 Salem Street.  This program is available to Lynnfield preschool age children (2.9 yrs. old on or before Sept. 1, 2014).  Parents are urged to come and learn about our program.

Lynnfield’s Integrated Preschool Program offers a language based, multi-sensory approach to academic and social readiness skills. Speech and language, occupational and physical therapy activities are embedded into classrooms and are available for individual and small group therapy as determined by students’ individualized education programs. Lynnfield’s Integrated Preschool Program has a curriculum aligned with the Massachusetts State Frameworks with play as an essential vehicle for learning. Students participate in hands on learning opportunities to develop social, behavioral and academic skills necessary for kindergarten readiness.

Lynnfield Preschool offers morning and afternoon sessions. Registration for September 2014 will begin at the open house and end on January 17, 2014.  Many students are returning to the program, so spaces are limited.  Open slots will be filled by random selection.  Call the Special Services Office with any questions at 781-581-5140.
