Historical Society Presents: New England In Hollywood

The next meeting of the Lynnfield Historical Society will take place on April 24th at 7:30 pm in the 1714 Meeting House.  The meeting will feature a slide lecture about “New England in Hollywood”.

The public is invited to join author and personality Roger Kolb for a fun and informative illustrated lecture about the movie stars who came from our region.  Visit their childhood homes, identify their big breaks, analyze their rise to stardom, and discuss their career highlights.  Katharine Hepburn, Matt Damon, Bette Davis, Meg Ryan--hey, how many stars from NE can you name?  Let's talk movies!

Kolb holds a Bachelor's in History from the University of Wisconsin.  A native of Long Island, he is a columnist for The Somerville Journal and the founder of the illustrated lecture company New England Armchair Tours.
