Median sales prices remain up since 2012, home sales more level.

In its monthly local real estate report, the Warren Group reported 11 home sales in Lynnfield for November of 2013, compared to 13 for that month in 2012.

Year to date, 118 home sales were reported in town as of the end of November 2013, compared to 116 for that point in 2012 – a difference of less than 2%. "This has been a banner year in local real estate, but one with a focus on rising prices. The sales volume growth has been more restrained and now we see a modest decline," said The Warren Group CEO Timothy M. Warren Jr. "We're seeing the same thing in Massachusetts that the rest of the country is experiencing: a slight slowdown in home sales, driven by increasing interest rates and tight supply."
