Yard Waste Collection Stickers Available June 20

Current green stickers good until the end of the month.

The following is an announcement from the Lynnfield Department of Public Works:

DPW would like to announce that the new 2011-12  Yard Waste Collection recycling stickers have just come in and will available for sale to Lynnfield residents beginning on Monday, June 20. They are red in color and are good until June 30, 2012. Anyone with the current green sticker can still use the recycling center until the end of this month, when they will expire.

The Center is open each week until November 30 on Wednesdays and Saturdays only from 7:30 a.m.- 3 p.m. each day to accept brush, tree limbs, grass clippings and leaves.

Residents are reminded that the Center cannot accept any limbs larger than 6 inches in diameter and is not open to landscapers, contractors or vehicles with commercial plates. To use the Center you must have a current recycling sticker.

If you need to purchase a new recycling sticker you may do so by stopping by the DPW Office at Town Hall Monday-Thursday 8am-4:30pm., Fridays 8am-3:30pm or from the attendant at the Recycling Center on Saturdays.
