Wong Announces Funds For Route 1 Water Main Project

Representative Donald Wong (R-Saugus) is pleased to announce that he has secured $2,000,000 in state funding for the Route 1 water main relocation in Saugus.

Achieved in the Supplemental Budget, the Saugus Republican successfully lobbied for state funding for the ongoing relocation and upgrade of water mains along Route 1.

“The residents and businesses along Route 1 have long been inconvenienced by the faulty water main system that is currently in place,” said Representative Wong. “This funding will ensure that an antiquated water main system is brought up-to-date.”
