Mosquito Spraying Tuesday in Lynnfield

Spraying for mosquitos in parts of Lynnfield Tuesday night after 8 p.m.

The following was provided by the town of Lynnfield: 

This is a message from the Lynnfield Board of Health to inform residents West Nile Virus has been detected in a second mosquito sample in Lynnfield. In response, Lynnfield through the Northeast Massachusetts Mosquito Control District, will carry out a targeted mosquito spray effort.
This target area is the same area as was sprayed earlier this month will encompass Essex Street in Lynnfield. This will include the border streets of Lowell, Main and Summer Street near Essex Street and side streets which encompass Essex Street. The map of the area to be sprayed is attached to this message.
The truck-mounted spray is expected to occur after 8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 but may be adjusted to the following available night due to weather conditions.
Residents do not need to take special precautions to prepare for the spray activity but may choose to stay indoors or close windows if they see the truck coming during the spray effort. Citizens are urged to take personal protective measures to avoid mosquito bites. Protecting from mosquito bites is the key priority.
