Lynnfield Town Website Will Feature More Meeting Info Soon

The town expects to begin regularly posting minutes and agendas from its various board and committee meetings, reported Town Administrator Bill Gustus at Monday night's selectmen's meeting.

Gustus told selectmen and others at the meeting that some of the minute-takers at the various meetings still have training to undergo in the coming days and that Lynnfield has been working with Virtual Town Hall on the task.

In about 4 to 6 weeks, he added, around the time the new fiscal year begins, the meeting agendas and minutes are expected to start appearing consistently on the town website. At the outset, the focus will only be forward-moving, but in time, the project will also apparently include meeting minutes from prior years.
