Lynnfield Recycling Center Extends Hours For Storm Cleanup

in light of Hurricane Sandy cleanup, extended hours for those with current town recycling stickers starting Wednesday, Oct. 31.

The following is an announcement from the Town of Lynnfield:

Due to Tropical Storm Sandy, the Town Hall Yard Waste Collection Center will be open to Lynnfield residents only, who have current recycling stickers, beginning Wednesday, October 31 from 7:30 a.m-3:00 p.m. to accept tree limbs and debris. The extended hours of the Center will remain each day for one week and will resume normal operating hours on November 7.

Please note that during the month of November the hours of operation are: Wednesdays, Saturdays and SUNDAYS from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The Center cannot accept any limbs larger than 6 inches in diameter and is not open to landscapers or contractors.

If you need to purchase a recycling sticker you may do so by stopping by the DPW Office at Town Hall before entering the Recycling Center. The cost is $10 ($5 for seniors over 65). If you have any questions you should call the DPW Office at 781-334-9500.
Due to the amount of debris and traffic  residents should use caution when entering the area and follow directions of the attendant.
