Lynnfield Declares Snow Emergency Starting 7 a.m. Friday

Emergency declaration in effect until further notice as region awaits possible blizzard.

The town of Lynnfield has declared a snow emergency, effective 7 a.m. on Friday. The emergency declaration will remain in place until further notice.

During this time, vehicles left on town roads will be towed and ticketed. Vehicles that impede snow removal can also be towed and ticketed.

Also, residents are reminded that it is illegal to blow or shovel into the street, and that they should stay off the roads on Friday and much of Saturday if possible.
