The S.A.F.E. program is a statewide initiative that provides resources and funding to local fire departments to conduct fire and life safety education programs for students in grades K-12. The mission is to enable students to recognize the dangers of fire and more specifically the fire hazards tobacco products pose.

“The funding from this grant will help to save lives by providing students in Lynnfield with a better understanding of fire hazards and how best to prevent them,” said Representative Wong.
