Emergency Restrictions Prohibit Sprinklers, Irrigation Systems

Suppliers in 14 cities and towns in Ipswich River Water Basin required to further limit outdoor water use. Violators will be fined.

The following is an emergency Message from the Lynnfield Center Water District:

The Massachusetts Department of Envirnonmental Protection has mandated that the Public Water Suppliers of the fourteen cities and towns within the Ipswich River Water Basin institute increased Water Emergency Restrictions to further restrict outdoor use of water.

Until further notice, the Lynnfield Center Water District prohibits all use of sprinklers and irrigation systems. A hand held hose may be used at any time.  Violators will be fined.
