Nelson takes three of four town precincts in race against Tom Terranova.

Dave Nelson was sworn in as the newest member of the Lynnfield Board of Selectmen Monday night shortly after polls closed in the town election. Nelson took three of the four precincts in Lynnfield for an electoral margin of 1,063 votes to 693 votes for rival Tom Terranova.

For the two open school committee seats, Chris Barrett and Sal Cammarata were the two winners, with James Dillon coming up short in his bid to return to the committee after a two-year hiatus.

The third contested race was for assessor, where Don Garrity won over Harry LeCours.
