Week Starts With A Vehicle Fire

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Monday, September 10 and Tuesday, September 11.

On Monday, September 10 at 7:12 a.m., police and fire personnel responded to Daly Road for a report of a fully involved vehicle fire. A 1984 Mercedes was on fire.
At 1:21 p.m. a man was reportedly stung on the face by a bee on Lowell Street and went to Union Hospital.
At 1:22 p.m.,  a caller reported some stolen tools.
At 5:30 p.m., a woman reported that some middle school students were "swearing and barking" at her with her children in the car. An officer spoke to the youths' parents about their behavior.
At 5:39 p.m., someone was reportedly spotted dumping something into the septic system at Lynnfield High School. When a staff member confronted the individual, he refused to say what he had disposed of and left the premises. An area search came up negative.
At 7:03 p.m., some screens were discovered lifted up at the rear of a home on Essex Street. No entry was apparent.

On Tuesday, September 11 at 6:49 a.m., a lamp post was reported knocked down on Biahop's Road.
At 8:25 a.m., a minor accident was reported at Salem and Walnut Streets.
At 9:22 a.m., a caller reported that a clean cut man between the ages of 20 and 30 had tried to get her to come to his car to check out his dogs.
At 5:34 p.m., an accident was reported on South Broadway with no injuries.
At 6:47 p.m., an accident was reported on Salem Street.
At 8:12 p.m., some youths were reported running down Todd Lane near some construction equipment.
