Two Men Peer Into a Window, and a Turtle Gets Across Road Safely

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service between Tuesday, May 28 and Thursday, May 30.
On Tuesday, May 28 at 11:42 a.m. police took a vandalism report from the MarketStreet Lynnfield construction site.
At 2:31 p.m. a resident walked in to report a theft.
At 2:44 p.m. a break-in was reported at Lynnfield Commons.
At 4:53 p.m. a Main Street resident reported a neighbor had damaged some tree limbs. Police advised civil action.
At 10:58 p.m. a caller on Wildewood Drive reported hearing a rumbling noise and then reported finding a scuff mark on a garage entry door and a scratch on the trunk of his car. All else was found in order.
On Wednesday, May 29 at 12:39 a.m. a Green Street resident reported that two men dressed in black had just walked up to his apartment and looked in his windows and then left the area.
At 9:17 a.m. a Carter Road resident called about a suspicious auto. It belonged to a nearby resident.
At 10:38 a.m. a suspicious auto with two or three young men in it was reported on Cortland Lane.
At 12:42 p.m. police took a fraud report.
At 1:35 p.m. an erratic operator was reported on Summer Street. The driver was gone on arrival.
At 2:29 p.m. an accident with no injury was reported on Broadway.
At 2:50 p.m. a dog was reported in traffic on Olde Towne Road. The owner retrieved it.
At 3:39 p.m. police gave a verbal warning after receiving a call about people fishing on Pillings Pond in violation of a town bylaw.
At 6:15 a solicitor selling books door to door was reported on Debston Lane.
At 6:27 p.m. police issued a summons to a 33 year old Lynn man for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
At 6:58 p.m. an officer issued a written speeding warning on Main Street.
At 7:36 p.m. a Thistle Lane resident called about a suspicious person on the golf course. It turned out to be a neighbor walking his dog.
On Thursday, May 30 at 5:48 a.m. a motorist reported a turtle was in the middle of the road on Chestnut Street. An officer helped it off the street.
At 10:26 a.m. a domestic disturbance was reported on Summer Street.
At 11:13 a.m. vandalism was reported at the MarketStreet Lynnfield construction site.
At 4 p.m. a stolen license plate was reported on Ross Drive.
At 7:47 p.m. police informed a door to door solicitor on Crest Road that he needed a permit from the town.
At 7:50 p.m. the fire department responded to an electrical or oil odor in a house on Saunders Lane.
At 11:43 p.m. a suspicious auto was reported on Lynnfield Street. Soon after, police arrested Michael Scali, 41, 30 Derby Street, Somerville, and chaged him with possession of a class A drug, subsequent offense. Police also arrested Amalia Zanakos, 26, 19 Burget Ave., Medford, and charged her with possession of a class E drug.
