Two Arrested At Old Pro Shop For Metal Theft

responded to these and other calls for service on Monday, Dec. 12 and Tuesday, Dec. 13.

On Monday, Dec. 12 at 8:05 a.m., police informed the DPW of icy road conditions on Summer Street.
At 9:02 a.m., a disabled vehicle was reported on Salem Street.
At 9:32 a.m., a motor vehicle accident was reported on Salem Street at the rotary.
At 10:19 a.m., a burglar alarm went off on Daventry Court. Police found an unsecured patio door, but opted not to secure it because of the two large dogs sitting at the door.
At 10:30 a.m., a Kimball Lane business called to report a middle-aged man passed out in the restroom.
At 11:41 a.m., police took a walk-in report involving ID fraud.
At 1:30 p.m., An individual was apparently caught by workers taking metal from the old pro shop on the Colonial property. From there, police arrested Alexander V. Cerqueira, 20, of 3 Oak Knoll Ave., North Reading, for trespass, conspiracy, and breaking and entering into a building in the daytime for felony. Police also arrested James Maloney, 23, of 16 Joseph Way, Reading, for trespass, conspiracy and breaking and entering a building in the daytime for felony.
At 2:30 p.m., a caller reported finding the wallet of a Lynnfield resident at City Hall Plaza in Boston.
At 3:23 p.m., a caller reported that a suspcious person in a skull mask was standing near a bus stop at Ledge Road and was making some children uneasy.
At 3:42 p.m., a caller on Tophet Road reported that two people were apparently standing on a corner holding signs. The two young Lynnfield men turned out to be .

On Tuesday, Dec. 13 at 10:37 a.m., a burglar alarm went off on Ledge Road.
At 3:23 p.m., a Horseshoe Drive resident called about a civil complaint, and police advised the individual to take civil action.
At 5:52 p.m. , there was a motor vehicle accident at the Center Stores on Main Street.
At 6:30 p.m., police issued a summons to a 45-year-old Swampscott man for attaching plates to a motor vehicle, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
