Tee Time At The Traffic Circle

The following information was supplied by the Lynnfield police department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Monday, August 1 and Tuesday, August 2:

On Monday, August 1 at 1:03 a.m., police received a complaint about a loud party on Doncaster Circle.
At 10:06 a.m., a Daventry Court resident reported hearing a loud popping sound, after which a nearby telephone pole began smoking. Verizon was notified.
At 10:23 a.m., a suspicious man was reported on Lockwood Road. The man apparently knocked at a woman's door, inquired about docking stations, and then left in a white pickup truck.
At 11:20 a.m., a Mohawk Lane resident reported a plant had been taken from her lamp post and that ketchup had been put in her mailbox.
At 2:30 p.m. a Summer Street resident called to report that a man in the area was acting very strange.
At 2:36 p.m., a disabled auto was reported on Salem Street.
At 3:28 p.m., a strange man, apparently the one reported previously, was reported on Heritage Lane. 
At 4 p.m., a suspicious person was reported on Main Street. Police located the individual and spoke to him at the station. From there, they transported him to a shelter in Beverly.
At 5:15 p.m., a small white dog was reported to be loose on Salem Street. Animal Control was notified.
At 5:40 p.m., a larceny report was received from South Broadway.
At 9:07 p.m., a group of youths was reported to be in the Bridgewell parking lot.

On Tuesday, August 2 at 5:27 a.m., police followed up on a 911 hang-up call.
At 10:17 a.m. a disabled auto was reported on the 128 ramp at Walnut Street.
At 12:18 p.m., police took a walk-in report involving malicious destruction of property.
At 12:22 p.m., an Otter Pond Road resident called to report that two men were in the driveway across the street hitting golf balls onto the nearby traffic circle. The two males told police they were doing work on the property and had thought there were only woods behind it.
At 12:37 p.m., a Westway resident reported that a suspicious man was across the street taking pictures. Police were unable to locate him.
At 2:18 p.m., police responded to a burglar alarm activation.
At 3:14 p.m., police took a walk-in report involving fraud.
At 3:15 p.m., police checked a Lowell Street house after an alarm activation.
At 4:55 p.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Lowell Street.
At 5:58 p.m., the burglar alarm went off again on Lowell Street and police were informed there had been an installation problem.
At 6:18 p.m., a manhole cover was reported to be in the road on Main Street. It was put back into place soon after.
At 6:29 p.m., a disabled auto was reported on Summer Street.
At 6:45 p.m., an auto was reported to be stuck in about three feet of water in the Route 1 tunnel after a heavy rain.
At 8:44 p.m., a disabled auto was reported on Walnut Street. Police transported three individuals to Medford.
At 10:07 p.m., a burglar alarm went off at Eastern Bank.
At 10:32 p.m., a wires down report came in from Archer Lane.
